Recently, over a hundred JAC K7 intelligent driving heavy trucks equipped with Cummins M13 engines were successfully delivered to SF Express in batches. As an important practice in the intelligent, informationized and green transformation of the logistics industry, these vehicles will deeply integrate into SF Express' three-network integration system. With the dual drive of "intelligence + power", they will inject new impetus into the efficient operation of the》delivery and freight transportation sector.
The fleet customer manager of the Group Customer Department of the Commercial Vehicle Marketing Division of Jianghuai Automobile stated: "Jianghuai and Cummins have a solid partnership in the field of light commercial vehicles. In recent years, more and more Cummins medium and heavy-duty engines have been installed in Jianghuai medium and heavy trucks. Thanks to the outstanding reliability and economy of Cummins engines, Jianghuai trucks have become more competitive when selecting vehicles for》delivery fleets. Previously, their cooperation with Zhongtong Express achieved great success. We believe that through this successful delivery to SF Express, the cooperation between the two parties to build an efficient and intelligent logistics power chain will reach a higher level."
As a leading player in the industry, SF Express has been continuously promoting the upgrading of its logistics network through technological innovation. Autonomous driving trucks have become an important support for its long-distance transportation.
These Jianghuai K7 intelligent driving heavy trucks equipped with Cummins M13 engines have been put into operation on the busy》delivery trunk line from Central China to the coastal line of SF Express. The Cummins M13 engine, as the core power source, with its outstanding performance and reliability, works in efficient synergy with the intelligent system to jointly ensure transportation efficiency.
The K7 is equipped with the Cummins M13 engine, which boasts outstanding power performance. With a power of up to 520 horsepower and a torque of 2400 N·m, it provides a solid foundation for efficient transportation. Thanks to Cummins' advanced power technology, the M13 engine can unleash powerful torque at low speeds, with a 5%-10% improvement in transient response speed and a 10% enhancement in starting acceleration performance. This is sufficient to handle complex situations such as climbing slopes and overtaking encountered during long-distance mainline transportation, significantly improving transportation efficiency and ensuring that goods are delivered on time.

In terms of helping customers reduce costs and increase efficiency, the Cummins M13 engine also performs exceptionally well. With a high combustion pressure of 250 bar, it can withstand harsh mechanical and thermal loads. The oil pump and fuel pump have been comprehensively upgraded, significantly improving leak-proof, water-proof, and dust-proof performance, ensuring the engine operates stably in complex environments.

The M13 engine achieves a 30% reduction in the number of components through structural optimization design, effectively reducing its weight. Combined with the ultra-high pressure common rail fuel injection system and the new generation intake and exhaust system, the combustion efficiency has been significantly improved, resulting in a notable fuel-saving effect compared to similar products.
Furthermore, the Cummins M13 supports an extremely long oil change cycle of up to 150,000 kilometers, significantly reducing the downtime for vehicle maintenance and effectively lowering the operational costs throughout the vehicle's entire lifecycle. This creates greater value for customers.
To help SF Express better utilize the efficiency of its fleet, Cummins provided comprehensive and customized training as well as technical support. At the same time, the two parties further strengthened cooperation in post-market services to provide a reliable guarantee for the efficient operation of the vehicles.
